This gentle form of massage is designed to create a state of relaxation and calmness with the use of long strokes and deep circular movements. As well as promoting healing from its day-to-day stresses, this classic massage increases the level of oxygen in the blood, decreases muscle toxins, improves circulation and flexibility all while easing tension in body and mind.

Deep Tissue Massage

45 mins £45

60 mins £60

90 mins £75

This technique is similar to the Classic/Swedish Massage but with a more intense pressure. It focuses on the deeper layers of the muscles instigating a greater tension relieving response with the use of slow, strong strokes and the integration of Trigger Point Therapy. Deep tissue massage can be used as a full body treatment or to work on an individual problem (e.g. sports injury, whiplash repetitive strain to name a few) to reduce tissue congestion, reduce stress caused by tension, help relieve chronic pain and promote deeper relaxation by increasing muscle flexibility.

Chair massage is a style of seated massage (either in a normal or specially designed chair) which focuses on the back, neck, shoulders and arms using Swedish Massage techniques. This treatment is typically short (10-30 minutes per treatment) and doesn't require the use of oils or the need for the client to remove any clothing. Due to its verasatile nature it is often offered in high stress environments, at corporate events, in the workplace as well as festivals and events.

Sports Massage

(coming soon.. Autumn 2019)

Sports massage is a form of massage involving the manipulation of soft tissue to benefit a person engaged in regular physical activity. It is designed to assist in correcting problems and imbalances in soft tissue that are caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and trauma. The application of sports massage, prior to and after exercise, may enhance performance, aid recovery and prevent injury - it is often prescribed by doctors to treat back or muscle-strain or as part of a rehabilitation program for people who've had an injury.
